"A true horseman does not look at the horse with his eyes; he looks at his horse with his heart."

I grew up in Bozeman, Montana while it was still considered a “little, cowtown.”

I spent quite a little time exploring the mountains surrounding my family home. I also enjoyed playing sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, golf, and football.

After graduating high school in Bozeman, I completely changed course and set off for Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here I studied to become an aviation maintenance technician. I went on to work at Comair Aviation Academy in sunny Orlando, Florida. I continued working on aircraft for several years. Aviation opportunities took me back to Montana and later on to Alaska.

I moved back to Big Sky Country and found a nice starter horse for me. I attended a horsemanship clinic of Buck Brannaman’s in Kalispell. This was my first introduction to Buck’s teachings and I was instantly hooked.

Through Buck I have met many, many influential people including renowned horsewoman, Betty Staley and the late Peter Campbell. He was one of the world’s top horsemen and I was fortunate enough to study with him several times before he passed away.

I offer my help to those looking for something a little more “finely tuned” than the day to day riding. I would like nothing more than to shorten the learning curve for passionate horse enthusiasts.

If true connection with a horse is part of what you’re searching for then I sincerely hope our paths cross soon.

As my good friend Betty Staley says, "Any friend of the horse is a friend of mine."

Happy Trails...
